My quilt is finally back from the long arm quilter. She had some problems in Dec so wasn't able to get it finished by Christmas. This photo definately doesn't do it justice. The photo looks a bit funny too cause DH held it sideways and then I had to rotate it to post so it's not headon. This was a BOM that I did at the quilt shop. The only thing I'd do differently if I was doing it again is the placement of the HST around the edge. I did that on my own cause the pattern was just a wide red border and I didn't like that. I still haven't bound it either. I spent a few nights sewing on all the buttons. Boy is it hard to sew buttons on a quilt after it's been quilted!

What an adorable quilt!
Oh yeah! I finally get to see your Christmas quilt! It is gorgeous! I love the way she quilted it, the way it accents your applique, it does not deter from it at all!
I love it, love it, love it! :o)
What a cheerful quilt ,wonderful for those cold winter evenings .
That is a beauty, Shirley! I love the colors!
That's a very pretty quilt, and so cheerful to look at.
That came out terrific! I love the quilt and the quilter did a nice job. I like how she quilted your border. And, I know exactly what you mean about sewing stuff on one after it's quilted. That's a pain. Lane
Super. It looks great and I like the HST's for the border. Nice job.
You did a great job. It's a beautiful quilt! Does look like you put a lot of time and effort in. I just love it!
I can't believe you made this just for me- in case you didn't, are you up to sharing your patterns? I love this quilt! cw
