Christmas Block

This is the block I'm using in the quilt block frame I bought from Angela. I wanted a Christmas block with a biblical name but couldn't find a Christmas one so I used this one called Cain and Abel. I got it at Quilter's Cache. It looks even better than I hoped it would.

Not much going on here today. It's Grey Cup Sunday so hubby is hunkered down waiting for the game to begin. I'm not a big sports fan aside from Curling and Skating. Although.. I just realized it might be a good day to go shopping. Wish I'd thought of it earlier.

Have a great Sunday.

Your block looks great in that frame. Is it possible to change the block, ie: a differnt one for each month or holiday? Patricia

I love your framed block, and the choices you made for candles add just the right touch.

Hi Shirley, first, I like your new festive theme. I'm going to work on something festive for my own now, such great inspiration from my fellow bloggers.
You new block is so cute in that perfect wooden frame, nice job!

Aren't those frames great? Your block looks wonderful in it. I've bought two, and will probably buy more before I am done. My latest is in today's posting...

I love your Christmas block! It looks perfect in that frame! Do you like how easy it is to change out the block? Thanks for showing us!

The block switches out really easily. It's just like a picture frame. Just put something solid like heavy cardboard behind the block and snap it into place. I have two small pins like on a picture frame one on each side that I hold it in with too.
