I made one of these for myself last year and I absolutely love it. Of course I do a lot of hand work so it's really good for keeping my scissors and stitch ripper handy and the little bag is great to have any time. You can use it to throw away wrappers or Kleenex or whatever too and then it just unbuttons to empty. So I made this one yesterday
I made it from fabric in that bag of so called scraps I got for $2 at the Thrift Shop last week. I was only going to make one bazaar item a week but I just had to try this one. The pattern is from Tip Nut They are not for retail selling but this is charity so I hope it's okay. She has amazing patterns, craft ideas, recipes and more. I got the link originally from Molly, she's the Queen of Links if every there was a Queen.
It's nice here today. A bit chilly in the wind but overall a pleasant summer day. I know I should be outside working but it's my vacuuming day plus I'm reading the novel Keeping the House and it keeps hopping into my hands. Very good book. I'm about 3/4 way through now. I'd had to put it down to read a couple of other books and am just now getting back to it.
Hope everyone is having a good Friday.

Very cute! I would think that would sell.
That is a really cute pincushion! And great that you could make it from the scraps you got from the thrift store!
There have been heat advisories here, I am SO ready for it to cool down! Last year we did not turn the AC on at all, this year we have had it on for 4 weeks straight! Not good for the power bill! Enjoy your cooler weather!
How cute! I need one of those...
I love that design--never seen one with the little bag holder for "trash" buttoned on--CUTE!!
Did the vacuuming get done???
Or did the book get finished first???
Hugs, Di
What a great bazzar item. I am sure you could sell many.
Is the book finished.
I should be vacumming too but ??
I love the organizer for your chair. I am envious of your cool days...no such thing here. HOT, HOT, HOT! Hoping for a break the beginning of the week.
