I've been working on this one for awhile. I like working with wool.. for one thing it doesn't fray :0) This is a pattern from Bareroots.
Now I'm getting to work on a new stitchery for a sample for the store. I haven't felt like quilting lately so it's nice to have something to do.
It's soooo hot here. Hazel I think we have your Ontario weather. It's going to be in the 30'sC all week. This is only the 4th time it's happened since records started being kept in 1881. They had a summer like this in 1928 and another one in 2003. I think that's the year we decided to buy a freestanding air conditioner.
We had an amazing thunder storm last night. We don't get thunderstorms here so all the neighbours were out in the street, beer in hand, taking in the show... well until the rain started anyway.

Jay and I both love to sit outside during storms, or at least before the storm actually hits. Your project turned out very cute. The angels are darling.
The rain just hasn't stopped here ,most of the city streets were flooded today and of course we got caught driving in it .There forecasting 5 more days of it heavy rain and thunder storms .Send my nice weather back PLEASE this is so depressing .

I like the candle mat. We get some really good thunder storms here and we have had a lot of them this summer. I love them if they aren't too violent.

We get afternoon thunderstorms a couple times a week, because of the July/August heat here in central Illinois...

How sweet!!! Great job, and great idea to keep busy even when the weather isn't conducive to quilting.
