Stitchery

I haven't been doing a lot of sewing or quilting but I did finish this stitchery. I found it in an copy of Country Threads.

The photo's a bit blurry. I think the reason all of my photos end up blurry is me, not the camera. My husband commented one day that I was shaking. I noticed it when I was taking this photo. I need to get myself a little tripod so I can get clearer photos. It doesn't happen all the time but I've been doing things around - plus just had my morning coffee - so that explains it.

I've been pulling weeds a lot in the garden too so have a constant sinus headache. I think I've finally pulled the last one and now I need to start trimming and then powerwash. I usually would have gotten to it a lot earlier so it would have been easier but I went off travelling and this is my payment for that. It's been so hot too and I can't stay out there for more than maybe 90 minutes a day. I don't do well in the heat. Today the temperature is still high - 25C (80F) but there's a really nice cool breeze off the ocean so it's tolerable - except now it's too windy. Hard to please much? *LOL*

Today I'm going to catch up on housework anyway. I have the carpet cleaners coming to do an estimate next week - thank goodness! they need cleaning - so I have to get rid of all the dust and stuff I've been ignoring.
