THANKS EVERYONE

Thanks for all the support when I was having a bad time a few days ago. I'm feeling much better now. At one time Michael did have a Social Worker (kids with Aspergers are allowed services until they turn 18) and she said I was the only person she'd ever met who could plunge so deep and come back up so quickily. Guess I did it cause I had to if I wanted to survive.

A woman in AlAnon once said we're all born with a bucket of slop over our heads (although she didn't use the word slop). Sometimes the bucket stays upright and things are good, other days bits dribble out but we can handle it. Then there are times that the bucket just dumps the whole thing at once. I'll never forget that. Hope my bucket stays empty for awhile *LOL*

I had to go to my doctor yesterday to get the results of last week's blood tests. I got nothing but good news :0) My bloodpressure is 110/70. It's never been that low in my life! It really makes me happy to see that lifestyle changes really do work. I limit salt is the biggest change I've made, and exercise - although I've been pretty lax at that lately aside from gardening. And my kidneys are still functioning at 38% which is where they were 18 months ago. So I have hope that they're leveling out there and won't go lower for awhile.

I told her the problems I was having - way more than just Michael. I was beginning to think it was me. I have a sister who is paranoid schizophrenic and she always blames everything on other people. I'm always afraid I'm like her. The doctor assured me I'm not crazy and I don't need therapy. I just have a lot on my plate. That helps.

Then last night I went out to a birthday dinner for one of the girls at the shop. There were 10 of us and it was really fun to spend a couple of hours with quilters. We had a lot of fun, lots of laughter. Does the soul good.

I am so glad you are feeling better today and that your health is good. I like the bucket of slop theory, cute. Glad you got out and had a good time, usually that works.

Good going there girl! I'm glad your doctor visit turned out good and you deserved a time out with the girls. It does all of us good to be silly and laugh--we should do it more often. Take care of yourself, you are too important to us. Have a good weekend
